NASA scientists discover the well-known star Mira to have a gigantic 13-light-year-long tail, visible only in ultraviolet light. The Nasa guys even have some sense of humor: “Coincidentally, Mira and its “whale of a tail” can be found in the tail of the whale constellation.”
